How to get to Polokwane | iinfo TZANEEN

Johannesburg → Pretoria: N1 (if the travel choice is by road - car, bus, shuttle or taxi).
This national highway offers a straight, well-maintained route to the gateway to warmer and more sub-tropical areas, attracting tourists from all over the world.
Pretoria → Bela Bela (Warmbaths) →Modimolle (Nylstroom) → Mokopane (Potgietersrus) → Polokwane.
Alternative route - R101. Clearly sign-posted with an A. Detours through abovementioned towns. This route isn't tolled, therefore maybe not always in the best condition. Single lanes with trucks and other heavy vehicles make overtaking difficult.
Below a breakdown of the toll gates: names and fees. Prices range from light vehicle, heavy vehicle (2 axles), heavy vehicle (3/4 axles) to heavy vehicle (5+ axles).
