Love God. Love people
Loving our fellow believers is how we show we love God. No one can be an authentic Christian in isolation, we need each other (John 13:35; 1 John 4:20). We believe that as we come to Jesus, the living stone, rejected by men, but chosen and precious in God’s sight, we also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood. That’s why, at Joshua Generation Church, we devote ourselves to meeting together each week on a Sunday. Not just because it ‘the right thing to do’, but because we are all members of the holy priesthood that Jesus has called out to reveal the manifold wisdom of God (Ephesians 3:10).
When we come together it is not as spectators, but as a gathering of saints, each one able to hear God, each one able to operate in the power of God. We are His body; His hands and feet to those around us (Ephesians 1:23).
If you have never appreciated the value of being part of a local church, we encourage you, come along to one of our congregations. Allow God to touch your life and knit you into His body.
“The church is Christ’s body, the completion of him who himself completes all things everywhere.” Ephesians 1:23
