HGM Steelboys was founded by the owner/managing director Mr. Hassen Goolam Mohamed in 2005. HGM Steelboys is a major hardware supplier in the Mopani District of Limpopo. Currently we have a factory & hardware store in Industrial North, Tzaneen & a hardware store in Modjadji Village (of which we recently increase the storage capacity).  

We have a fleet of 4 delivery bakkies & 4 x 8-ton trucks that deliver stock to various areas in the Limpopo Province, but we are not restricted to delivering only to this area as we are looking to expand our business into Mpumalanga & Gauteng in the near future.

The factory part of the business is manufacturing steel window frames in various sizes as well as per customer specifications. We produce steel palisade fencing and standard & customized steel door frames.

The hardware store stocks all major brands of products in various fields including floor tiles, bathroom accessories, and wooden household doors both interior & exterior. We specialize in supplying steel as well as a very large variety of wood for roofing both SABS approved and Black X.

An integral part of our business is to supply various small enterprises with stock for government projects, e.g. sanitation projects and RDP housing as well as all fencing. We also stock & supply cleaning materials.

Following on the above mentioned we have various sub divisions that do a range of other functions / services. We pride ourselves that we can do general construction works. We have obtained both our Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and our National Home Builders Registration Council (NHBRC) certificates. We are also a Level 3 B-BBEE contributor certified by Empowelogic which is a SANAS verification agency.

A sub-division of ours, under strict supervision of a very competent manager, is to erect a large variety of fences.  We can do palisade, standard wire & also barbed wire fencing. This includes building of brick fences as well.
